awesome, glad you liked it. yeah it definitely fell into more of the bottle rocket mode than the rushmore/royal tennenbaums mode for me. and had special resonance b/c it was about 3 brothers. the visual style and the storytelling worked so well together. he shot the train like it was a diarama. and then when they were out in the world, it was like they were free, it just opened up. I actually really want to see it again, which is not something I've said about any movie this year. I want to quote my favorite line from the movie but I don't want to give it away. maybe I'll write it on your wall.
