I'm not sure that photo would constitute a "jury of my peers."
I get called for jury duty every 12 - 18 months, and have served on 4 panels since moving to LA. It's surprisingly gratifying, once you get beyond the irritations of the first day. Prepare to be treated like a first-grader, and to be appalled by the behavior around you in the general pool.
But... some gravitas does settle over the group when impaneled.
Somehow, I've never been called at all. This apparently is all the more amazing since Baltimore is forever short of eligible jurors. Stacy got called but was disqualified from both panels because of her medical expertise.

That's a lot of panels. I've only been summoned once. I listened to other people being voir dired, but wasn't questioned myself.
umm, I've literally never been called since moving to LA. and only once when in NYC. how weird is that?
(btw, awesome visual, lauren!)
