oh man, I thought it was water spurting out of the toilet, up and to the left, not rope. I was all "doesn't MacGuyver fix things?" now that I see it closer up, cool. can you come fix my toilet? or perhaps I should copy the specs from the pic. looks like we may have similar issues.
The floater rod rusted out and broke and now the poor floater ball has no direction, it just drifts. But to stop the toilet from running I rigged it. Feel free to copy the "specs"! Hopefully the rod will be replaced today.
