Bartlett

Last night at Melinda and Johan's freakin fantastic wedding, we, aka the cool kids, were at the Bartlett table (also known as Table #6.) Someone wisely pointed out that all the tables were named for different kinds of pears, which was a theme of the wedding (e.g. Melinda and Johan make a "perfect pair" (pear.) )

So I wondered, what the hell is a Bartlett pear anyway? See the yellow variety for yourself below.
