Damn, this movie scared the crap out of me. 28 Days Later is a better movie, this one relies a bit much on cheap slasher movie tricks for my taste (Lauren, it's right up your alley!) but there's plenty to chew on here (heh, couldn't resist) including the complexity and ambiguity of the definition of good guys and bad guys/heroes and villains, which is refreshing when so many would prefer to define the world in "with us or against us" terms.

28 Weeks Later = scaaaaary
Damn, this movie scared the crap out of me. 28 Days Later is a better movie, this one relies a bit much on cheap slasher movie tricks for my taste (Lauren, it's right up your alley!) but there's plenty to chew on here (heh, couldn't resist) including the complexity and ambiguity of the definition of good guys and bad guys/heroes and villains, which is refreshing when so many would prefer to define the world in "with us or against us" terms.

I can't possibly see this movie, even though it has one of my favorite actors from my favorite TV show, THE WIRE.
THE WIRE teaches us that Gary's adopted hometown is one f'ed up place.
