The birth of a writer?

I think we can learn a lot about writers when examining their previously published works. Can you see any stylistic similarities with today's writings?

Yesterday was Crew Day. Red and Blue crews yelled and yelled. Their cheers outcheering the other. It was really fun. Blue won third, second and racing crew. First form was a tie. It was a very exciting day.

My Dad's Flag

This is pretty cool. Because my Dad was in the Navy, he is due a flag from the government and we got it today. It's quite beautiful.

This was the special of the day in the cafeteria today: "Waffle fries smothered in chili and cheese sauce." Yes, it actually says "smothered." Very healthy.
