More of Maya Suskauer
Update: It's official -- her name is Maya Amit Suskauer. She is named for our grandfather whose name was Moshe (Moses). Maya is Hebrew for water, and Moshe means "from the water." Amit is Hebrew meaning "truth," and Mara's grandmother's name was Elvira, whose Latin meaning is truth.
It was a long day, but it was worth the trip to meet our niece. She's really cute, but does not have a name that I can share until tomorrow morning.

The newest Suskauer
Figures that Beeton would steal my thunder, but the call just came that Baby Girl Suskauer just arrived (10:45ish Eastern Time) at 6 lbs. 13 oz. No name or photo has yet been made public, but I am sure the paparazzi are camped out all over NYU hospital. We're on a 6 AM train to NYC, so we will learn more then. Poor Mara was in labor all day. . .
