Sabbath Greetings
Warm greetings to you for a pleasant Sabbath. Israel is great, but tiring. We need our day of rest.

Happy New Year!
Grannies, I'm off to Israel in the morning until late on the 2nd, so I wanted to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Not sure how much access I'll have to the interweb while over there, so adieu for now.

Multimedia message
Inside the rave meets lounge-like atmosphere of the plane with techno music playing softly 4 full effect. Oh and did find an ambien.
Hey there Blimpie Boy
So there I was, walking down the street with my head down when I noticed a strange shadow cross my path. When I looked up, I saw this:
Kind of weird, kind of fun. Still not voting for him though.

quote of the day
"That woman you met in my office this morning is not a colleague of mine, we are lovers."
"Ooh, that word bums me out unless it's between the words 'meat' and 'pizza.'"

Bush's 'Hope' Hotline
In a press conference today about the mortgage crisis, in an effort to send a message: "I care," Bush announced the formation of a "Hope Hotline:"
That pretty much says it all.
“And I have a message for every homeowner worried about rising mortgage payments: The best you can do for your family is to call 1-800-995-HOPE. That is 1-800-995-H-O-P-E,” he said. When people call it, this is what happens:

Film Award Season Begins
Cool. The National Board of Review Has Named Its Top Films of the year. Tops is No Country For Old Men. The next 10 best films are as follows:
THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD
ATONEMENT
THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM
THE BUCKET LIST
INTO THE WILD
JUNO
THE KITE RUNNER
LARS AND THE REAL GIRL
MICHAEL CLAYTON
SWEENEY TODD
I'm surprised no Eastern Promises. I'd put that in my Top 10. Definitely agree with No Country as best of the year and actually do agree with Michael Clayton as a top 10ish film even though I was underwhelmed with it. Happy to see Bourne up there. Haven't seen most of them though.
We should be getting a good stream of year end best of lists. Apparently Sweeney Todd is phenomenal.

god hearts huckabee
umm, I know he can sell snow to an eskimo, or whatever the saying is, but I gotta think this crazy talk (I know that would be seen as blue state liberal secular condescension, but whatevs) will not go over in states like FL and OH.

I Get E-Mails
Mr. Beeton,Well, at least this guy can put a sentence together, and form a concrete argument, as flawed as it might be. The idea that Democrats don't answer oppo questions is ridiculous (in fact they did at their CNN/YouTube debate) and his claim to that effect betrays this guy's bias. Bias is fine unless you let it get in the way of facts. The thing is, for Republicans, the media's reporting facts is expressing a liberal bias.
Are you really so ignorant as not to see the blatant bias CNN put forth in this debate? For so-called "undecided" voters to be so clearly decided is not only dishonest but is a total fraud. For you to defend that as if it was a good thing is ridiculous and only shows the double-standard leftists like yourself put forth.
Had the same thing happened in reverse on FOX it would have been front page news and a total outrage by left-wing nuts like you. Oh wait, I forgot, you left-wing nuts didn't even want to give FOX a chance to host the Democratic debate because, unlike the Republican candidates who actually answer opposition questions, the Democratic candidates do not. With the only fair network on cable being FOX it is no wonder Democrats boycotted the FOX debate, they would have had to answer questions. Not some softball, pre-conceived, agenda driven questions they get at CNN and MSNBC and the like. Actual, questions that require actual answers.
Keep up the double standard, it only exposes your true colors and helps regular people see your dishonesty, which seems to fit well with the dishonesty of the Democratic candidates in general.
